How To Study Science

These are the basic steps for studding science:
1. Concentrate in the science period , make sure that you understand what the teacher explains , and don’t hesitate to ask the teacher about something you don't understand , or something you can't follow.
2. Write down the board summary , it will organize your thoughts .
3.At home , sit in a quite and arranged place , start by reading the new lesson , and if it is not a new lesson , read the lesson from the beginning .
4. While you are reading the science lesson , summarize what you understand from the lesson .
5. Memorize the new vocabulary meanings and spelling .
6 . Solve the questions in the workbook , without using the book , mark the questions that you don't know there answers.
7. Open the book , try to find the answers that you couldn't get , answer the questions, then try to solve them again by yourself.

WSQC

Dear Parents ,

Regarding one of our aims of helping our students to put there feet on the first step for being great scientists in the future , we would like to give you a hint about one of our links to achieve our goals , which is the Weekly Science Question Competition (WSQC).

The nature of the WSQC :

- Each week a new scientific question will be raised and put up , in a written way , in a known place at school .

- The student who wants to participate in the competition in a certain week , should copy the question, then try to find the right answer .

- The student should ask his teacher for the answer card on which he will write his answer, he is asked to write down the answer , the reference , and his personal data as required in the card.

- The student should put the card in the answer box just below the question place .

- Answers dead line is by the end of Monday of each week .

- A new question will be issued every Saturday .

The Winners :

- All students who answer the question correctly , add the reference , and fill in all the personal data in the answer card , with clear handwriting , and with no grammar , spelling , or punctuation mistakes , are considered to be winners.

- Winner's names will be hung next to the new question every week .

- Winners will have a chance for bonus marks in Science subject (¼ mark for every correct answer ) .

- Winner's names will be uploaded to the school blog

Best Wishes For All Students
